I've just made it in time to submit for this week's @powerhousecreatives contest. The title is about GIFs and BOY! Do I remember my first GIF post. I never knew how GIFs were created nor where to find all these funny GIFs images online. But, thanks to @powerhousecreatives, I learnt something new and have started to use GIFs in my post. So, when this contest came up again for this week's contest, I couldn't say no to it.

So, my selection for this week's GIFs post is...

And my story goes like this...

On normal circumstances, such incident would be suitable for a mere verbal reprimand or a visit to the Human Resource Department. Of course it cannot go without any verbal warning at the least but no one expected to receive an official email from the Training Manager.

PROLOGUE

Three employees were asked to attend a training session organized by the Training Department.

Everyone who attended the training was curious as no one knew what was the objective of the training. In addition, it was scheduled for a whole two days with only three days of preparation. No one knew what to prepare except that they were required to bring along their laptops and all relevant documents needed for the session of decoding. Thankfully for their nature of work, all information was stored in their Shared Server which was accessible anytime, anywhere.

Attending the sessions was not a challenge for all of them. It was long and tiresome; in addition, there were no specific breaks in between except for lunch. For most trainings attended, there was always a fifteen minutes coffee break in the morning and in the afternoon. Of course there would be coffee, tea and some snacks served to quench the thirst and fill the stomach so that sufficient energy was refilled for more brain juice to be sucked out.

For Peter, Simon & Florence, this was indeed their first time encountering such training environment. When it was time for lunch, they joined hands with a few other fellow colleagues from the other division for lunch. The only threat was accessibility to the nearest eating outlet which was 10 minutes away by taxi. Having ordered quickly and gobbling up their food, they made it out of the restaurant just 10 minutes before 1.30PM which was the time given to them to return back to the training hall.

What they did not expect was the difficulty of getting a taxi for all five of them to get back to the training hall. Whether it was through the taxi mobile app or trying to call the taxi company, neither one of them worked. After waiting for fifteen minutes, they managed to hail for two taxis and of course they had to pay exorbitantly since they were in a rush.

By the time they walked into the training hall, everyone was already seated and had started on the training. It indeed wasn't nice to have all those pairs of eyes watching them but HECK! It wasn't like they intended to come in late.

The training ended the following day with additional work needed to be done which was expected. No one was expecting to just sit in a training room for two days and not have anything to deliver.

EPILOGUE

Dear Simon, Peter & Florence,

It has come to my attention that you were all late in returning from your lunch breaks on the first day of your training at Manhattan Gallery. Such events cannot be tolerated in our company as such monetary penalty will be conducted for your misbehavior. Kindly complete the misconduct form & return back to us within twenty-four hours, if not further monetary penalty will apply.

All three of them were flabbergasted when they opened up the email. None of them knew how to react on the receipt of such emails. They gathered themselves in Peter's room and when they stared at the email once again... They all bust out laughing!

Monetary penalty for being late for training after lunch ! This is the first time they have ever heard of such a thing !

Sandra, who was the department secretary walked in on them and said," What on earth are the three of you laughing about?"

Florence showed her the email and said," If not laugh about it, what else can we do! Maybe the next time we attend such a training, we should actually be late & dressed up as a clown to really make an impression."
