This post made me think about early poet Bradstreet and her exploration of earthly and heavenly matters (the Flesh and the Spirit).

Am I to be deceived then by one or the other of what must befall me?

We are curious creatures indeed; both in the sense of beings that have curiosity as part of their wiring and as beings that do curious/peculiar things that may amuse some inhabitant from, say, planet gold.
We live speculative existences that end up issuing more questions than answers.
