I remember this song from when I was a kid and we sang it in church. Carrie and Vince Gill do an outstanding job with it! The audience couldn't stop applauding. She's got a real gift in her voice! I didn't know the history behind it, so thanks for including that.

Carrie does a good job of the singing and of course many other artists also sang it.
I also love to look at the history of the songs and I think you should Google the history of "Amazing Grace" that you will also like.
