I must confess that many times I prefer junk food over homemade food because for many years I worked outside and away from home, and it was easier to buy something on the street and keep working than to prepare something healthy at home, to that I owe many of the pounds of more than I have on top. However when my little Mathias was born, with him came a radical change to my eating habits totally, and I always try to add vegetables in their meals, he is not very fond of eating meats, however also seek to integrate them into their meals, because there must be a balance, so that their food is adequate, I know that I am not an expert in nutrition, but I try to do my best so that I do not repeat the story of overweight that I have lived!

Oh yes, it is incredibly easy for our day to day schedules to sway our preferences - and not always positively so. But yes, same here... with raising a child, you want the best for them so at the end of the day those changes end up benefiting the both of you :)
