Oh you are too kind @dswigle! I read her autobiography years ago and loved it. She was quite a gal, lived a very interesting life. When I saw this article I had to giggle. I can just picture how gruff she was with her neighbors, and they still brought her brownies! lol Of course...she had to correct their recipe! Love it! So I thought hey, how good could these be then?
