RE: Dovecote (aka Pigeon House): La Tours-Blanche FRANCE
Our host told us a story about how the banking representatives knew of the result at Waterloo... and quickly sent messages to London to get their trades/money in the right places to profit! High speed communications of the day!
Yupper.
Those sneaky - albeit, in a genius way - Rothschilds.
They were a rarity in those times - employed by the Government, in spite of being Jewish.
Anyway, because of the rampant distrust of currency, soldiers demanded their pay be in gold.
Guess who were already established gold experts with extensive global networks for the movement of their gold?
The Rothschilds, of course!
So it's not difficult to see how the Rothschilds came into the war games with some tremendous communication and logistical advantages.
Their supply chains and communications capabilities were levels above everyone else's, including governmental and military structures specifically designed for "quickly" delivering messages.
