What is going on?
Today, as usual, I surfed in steemit, was reading some interesting articles, looking for materials to make a post, I found the article created by @magicmonk, so I tried the tools discussed in the article.
I was very surprised to see the results, it turns out a lot of whales are doing power down.
On the one hand, many people are gathering investors, even my own is campaigning to invite everyone to invested in steemit (power up).
Actually what is going on, whether steemit/steem will be destroyed with the birth of a new competitor, Or is this a common thing?

I think it should be seen also the percentage of SP in the powerdown with total SP that it has. Or maybe they predict that steem prices will soar in the coming weeks? 😊
