Every detail about google stadia!!
We finally have useful google stadia information, there’s a lot, so here we go ,Stadia is google’s forthcoming streaming video game service. That will run in the chrome browser on TV with a chrome cast ultra and pixel 3 and 3a phones. With more devices support coming in the future.
Now stadia arrives in november and will cost 10$ a month for the pro tier of service. This lets players stream games up to 4k HDR at 60 frames per second with 5.1 surround sound. You’ll need at least 35 megabits per second, down internet connections to access that kind of quality and you’re only going to need just, a 10 megabit conncetion to play in 720p.
Stadia pro is going to offer free games, but not access to everything, this isn’t all you can eat Netflix style, kind of service. Pro will give you discounts on select games, but you’re still going to purchase titles separately. Then there’s stadia base, this is entry level access to the service, that will let you play games up to 1080p and you’ll need to buy each game, you want to play individually.
There are no perks, like in the base tier, there’s also no 4k gaming either so you’ll need to subscribe to Pro to get the highest quality experience .Stadia base also won’t launch until 2020.So if you want to be the first to try stadia ,you gotta subscribe now .
Google is offering a limited edition bounders version of stadia to cost 129$ and you can preorder that right now it, includes a limited edition stadia controller, a cromcast ultra subscribtion upto three month .
It also gives you first dibs on picking a username on stadia. if that is something you care about ,now you don’t need a stadia controller to play games through a chrome browser but you will need one if you’re going to play on a TV with chromecast ultra. The stadia controller is interesting because it connects directly to Google over wi-fi.
So it connects the data centre which in theory could help with latency issues not we just don’t know, what that experience is gonna be like . Now if you’re playing stadia in a chrome browser on a desktop or laptop you can, just you need a compatible USB device like an Xbox controller or mouse and Keyboard or you can buy a stadia controller separately for $60.
Okay!! What about the games that’s really all matter’s ,Google has partnered with a number of indie and high profile publisher to Kick off the platform’s library. You can expect games like the new doom eternal, Mortal Kombat 11,destiny 2,wolfenstein Youngblood and other indie title’s, we actually hadn’t heard of yet like gilt and get packed.
Google is in talks with partnership with studios like Rockstar, so i’m guessing a Red Dead Redemption 2 is on it’s way and EA.But we really don’t know exactly what these games are. Just it’s unclear if Stadia will be a destination for exclusive title’s.
But they have said there will be first party games on the platform so it appears that new multi platform games will hit stadia , as already they’ve announced baldur’s gate 3 and ghost Recon break point will be stadia bound and all this sounds very intriguing and for fairly inexpensive entry level price. It might be an attractive alternative to those who don’t want to plop down hundred’s of dollars on a current or next generation console .
The biggest question about all this though, is what will it feel like what is the latency ?what’s the experiance like stadia ,will it offer shooters and fighting game’s out of the gate which to me sound like a lot of confidence in their product, but we’re gonna have to hold off judgment until we can actually play.
Sony and microsoft obviously have games streaming on their mind. Especially with that recent announcment the two companies will plan on working together on game streaming endeavors, which we will likely hear about that at e3 2019.
And you know this year definitely feels like game streaming’s breakout but there are still plenty of unknown’s. Are these games going to lead quicker? what will be interface look like? what will multiplayer gaming will look and feel like .
what do you think are you curious about Stadia or do you want to keep playing games locally on a console or PC let me know what you think and we’ll have much more on Google stadium very soon .
