Polvorosas Venezolanas! / Venezuelan dusty!

Hola amigos steemiats, hoy les contare sobre una receta venezolana muy sencilla y sobre todo muy deliciosa; "Las polvorosas"

Son unas galletitas de preparación sencilla, que se deshacen en la boca,son dulcitas y geniales para acompañar con un café o chocolate,se conocen en toda Venezuela, no dejen de probarlas, les aseguro que no se arrepentirán!

Ingredientes:

1 Kg de Harina de Trigo, (para todo uso)
1/2 Kg de Manteca vegetal
1/4 Kg de Azúcar
Azúcar glass para decorar.

Preparación:

En una taza grande colocas la manteca, le vas espolvoreando de a poco el azúcar y la vas mezclando con una paleta, la mezclas muy bien para que no tenga grumos, luego le vas agregando la harina y la amasas hasta obtener una masa suave.
Hay dos maneras de moldearla, la primera es estirar la masa con una rodillo hasta que tenga un espesor de aprox. 1 cm. y cortándolas con un vaso o un cortador redondo; la segunda es haciendo bolitas y aplastándolas con la mano dándole forma redondeada,como arepitas, coloquelas en una bandeja y llévelas al horno a 350° hasta que estén doradas, (unos 35 minutos)
Deje enfriar y espolvoree con azúcar glass al servir!

1/4 Kg of sugar

Preparation:

In a large cup you place the lard, you sprinkle it little by little with the sugar and mix it with a palette, mixing it very well so that it does not have lumps, then you add the flour and the dough until you obtain a soft dough.
There are two ways to mold it, the first is to stretch the dough with a rolling pin until it has a thickness of approx. 1 cm and cutting them with a glass or a round cutter; the second is making balls and crushing them with your hand giving a rounded shape, as arepitas, place them on a tray and take them to the oven at 350 ° until they are golden, (about 35 minutes)
Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar when serving!
