Kim Phuc Live at Skull Fest in Pittsburgh, PA on 8-19-18

Kim Phuc are a post punk band from Pittsburgh that formed in 2004, breaking up in 2012. Members have also played in the Gotobeds, Caustic Christ, The S/cks and Aus Rotten. They have released a demo, four EPs and one full length LP.

This was a treat to finally get to see them. Although I was living in Pittsburgh when they first started playing shows, and even am friends with some of them, I somehow missed those early shows. I tried to get them to play a show in Buffalo after I moved back here. All I wanted for my birthday show one year was Kim Phuc and Slices (also from Pittsburgh). After getting neither I canceled the show and haven't done a birthday show since. Well, thanks Kim Phuc for finally getting back together. This was an awesome show and a great set to wind up Skull Fest 10.
