"What do my Niece & Nephew know now, before spoiled by the World around them..." Indeed. Sadly I think it's as much a case of what they don't know, than what they do.

I feel that most people are born pure, and if nutured well are able to hold on to innocence and avoid negative influences, to some extent. This is increasingly an uphill task for guardians, so much access to positivity and negativity in the developed world.

Get them to their teenage years with this character and they've got a good chance of coming out of adolescence as upstanding good people :)
