Garden Statue • Mojave Desert
I photographed this weathered statue at a garden in the Mojave Desert. It looks like the wind and the sun has taken a toll... but still gives the garden a very Classical feel.
I think the background looks more interesting in black and white.

It looks extraordinary with the bill of years, surely the garden looks classic and resisting death.
This statue reminds me of those who are in the cemeteries of my country, indicating that there is a baby or child buried there.
That is very sad. This one is for pure joy and flowers.
A thousand times better than this sculpture is to pay homage to joy and life.
