looks like most of the top photos were taken by professional photographers and perhaps have been used for projects with huge accessories and were paid for that project.
Yes a lot of photos are done professionally and serve as a great view into that world. They are not per definition better than those done non professionally, just a different approach
Those pros were once amateurs too. It's inspirational to examine their work and look for ways to emulate it and grow in skill as a photographer.
