È venerdì, e voglio provare a partecipare al contest per la categoria #portraitphotography.
Questa fotografia faceva parte di un set di scatti che dovevano servire per la locandina di uno spettacolo teatrale. Un amico mi aveva contattato chiedendomi di fotografare il cast con i costumi di scena. Il set è Casa Pisani Dossi a Corbetta (MI), un'antico edificio della nostra zona usato spesso come location per eventi. Ho così sfruttato gli arredi ed accessori che ben si accostavano con gli abiti deli attori.
In questo caso Ho sfruttato lo specchio con cornice dorata per far riflettere il volto del soggetto, concentrando l'attenzione sul primo rifesso, e lasciando lei di spalle verso il bordo sinistro dell'inquadratura.
Ho fatto un pò di prove di post produzione su questi scatti, cercando di ottenere un tono invecchiato, per restare in tema con le richieste iniziali. Ho provato il bianco e nero, ma non mi convinceva molto. Ho lavorato invece su tonalità e saturazione dei colori, rifacendomi sempre alla lomografia, aggiungendo poi dei livelli per ottnere la sfuocatura in alcuni punti e altri per rendere l'effetto "rovinato" della carta invecchiata.
Per motivi di impaginazione è stata invce scelta una fotografia verticale e non questa.

Today is friday and I want to try to partecipate to the #portraitphotography contest.
This photo is part of a set thah I shoot for a theatre playbill. I friend of mine asked me to shoot at the cast dressing the costumes used in the play. The set was Casa Pisani Dossi in Corbetta (MI - Italy), an old and classical building often used as location for events and meetings. So walls, furniture and accessories were perfect with the actors in costumes.
In this case I used a mirror with gold frame to reflect the woman, focusing the attention on the first reflection and leaving her on the left side of the frame.
I did some post production test, trying to make it look older, following the initial client's need. I tried in black and white, but it wasn't the best way. I worked instead on hue and saturation, with an eye to lomography, then adding layers for spot blurring and for "aged paper" effect.
At the end they choose a vertical photo and not this one, due to impagination needs.
