yes! @eoj speaks spanish and can understand a bit of my language, tagalog, but almost everyone you will meet speaks english :) there is GREAT seafood in the Philippines! near where im from, general santos city, it known to have the best tuna!

Oh wow, I know what you mean, I am nervous to click that link because I might be swept off my feet and carried off to the airport!

I like the idea of your series, the #letsgoto where we want to drop everything and go today! That is perhaps not an available reality for all, but it is a very exciting bar to see set and great emotions to have while reading your travel article!

So, I think Philippines is a great choice! I love Indonesia as well, and the people are very friendly, but depending on where you go, you may find some people that don't speak English. In Philippines, you won't have any problems. Let us know when you go, we'd be happy to assist and help you find what you're looking for!

I love the steem community for this! It won't be this year, but after reading a lot of great travel articles, I do think it will be a lot sooner than we thought! The Philippines looks fantastic!
