Filling Light Portrait Part II — My Portraitcontest Entry #1 For Week #114
Model: Kriss, again, the year when she finished high school. That was a trial photo session before a workshop with young models along the seacoast that summer.
Photo taken outdoors on a semi-cloudy (with some good chances of precipitation) May afternoon.
Aperture F 4, Shutter Speed 1/250 sec., ISO 400, Focal Length 75 mm.
This is my entry #1 for the Portraitcontest challenge. Rules in the link. The topic this week is again Free.
Good luck and have fun!
Yours,
Manol Donchev

Beautiful portrait, @manoldonchev! Overcast days seem to have the best lighting for photography— especially with people.
If it's midday, yes, you need the clouds :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Such a nice portrait. I never had good luck taking photos of people, or even finding models for that matter. I usually pay someone to take my ID photo.
Well, everything comes with practice and trying. A lot.
Lovely photography, nice model to work with @manoldonchev
Thank you :)
That's a killer black and white! Great capture.

Thanks! Black and White often improves things in my opinion ;)
