Veil...(portraitcontest week2 entry2)
My lovely friend and very talented photographer Kate was hired to make photos for handmade jewelry. She invited me to film short video. But the location was in the other part of the island, and a storm was early morning, so roads were flooded and I was late by an hour, crossing water streams on my motorbike...There couple photos I made (I wish I had time to process video-footage).
PS: If you'll ever use fog-machine for photo or video - turn-off your fancy high-tech autofocus, you'll make less photos, but save your nerves ; )

you are welcome)
The ones with the veil are gold...
100% right about the auto focus - I try not to use it too much. Yes, it's more trouble manually, but I love the results!
Thanks for the warm words, you motivated my next post (I've just posted).
I like autofocus, especially eye-tracking at video-mode, cause I like dynamic scenes with camera movement. But dust, fog, rain, smog...all that beautiful sceneries make it useless ;-)
Lice portraits, that veil adds to a movie look.
Thanks for mention that! I tried to color-grade it in a cinematic style ))
Then you did it right, because it look like that :)
