📷 Portrait Photography - Bethany Jacobs - Actor - photo by @nebcat
Hello Friends!
Working with Bethany is a joy! Actors are fun to shoot because they (usually) have allot to offer for a photographer to capture various tone and moods.
This portrait was shot using the Canon 5D MIII w/ a EF 50mm f/1.2 prime lens,
Two Profoto monolights and a black backdrop. I like to shoot most portraits with ISO's between 200 - 400 for shadow texture and it also allows me to shoot with lower light power for a soft effect. I often use light boxes for the front key. Sometimes I would use a beauty dish if I wanted crisper contrasts and shadow details.
I hope you like this image, I plan on sharing one or two a week. I also wanted to release a few images that give designers and artists freedom to adapt and share their creations using my images.
Depending if anyone is interested, I will be putting together contests with Steem awards. If that is something people are in to, I will comply. I just need motivation and purpose to do so. I look to you to give me the green light! I just need Steem to give!
Give it a try with the image below and hon your Photoshop skills! Be creative, there is no theme for this round.
You can retouch, compose, use an effect, whatever!
The only rule: Please do not post anything vulgar or tasteless or you will be flagged.
_based on the total first payout amount of this post, 50% will be portioned out, I will give my first place winner 25% of total remaining profits acquired! Two runner-ups will also be awarded the remainder.
All you need to do is to Upvote and comment with the edited image attached to be eligible. _

Nice work!
@nebcat Lighting isn't the best on this picture - Just my honest opinion ....
thank you for your honest opinion, @mynewlife. I like to experiment with many different lighting setups. I not too caught up on perfection, just my mood. I'm an artist. lol How would you arrange the light differently?
It's not about perfection, just some rules. Side light is too hash in my opinion, it doesn't give anything to that picture. I could debate about this... Maybe softer light as a side light
