Popular Mechanics are losing some credibility here..

This is such an embarrassment. And a true disservice to the mission of popularizing science and technology.

When I was young, Popular Mechanics used to be a bit sensationalist but still quite legitimate.

This article is absurd. It would be interesting to write about this strange CIA document, explaining the history behind it. Instead, an attempt is made to present the contents, but it’s by someone who doesn’t seem to know enough physics to even make a coherent presentation.

And the concluding paragraphs about philosophy of science are junk.

I hope the editors will actually answer for this, explaining your position on the mission of the magazine and how this fits in.
