POP Contest #28 - My story
Hi, Steemians!
Today I'm uploading my first entry for the Pop contest #28 organized by @karenmckersie. Today I'd like to share a story that actually happened yesterday while playing at a show ♥ Hope you enjoy it.
I heard so many voices inside that same room I was in...
It was so crowded I couldn't help but feeling lonely.
Outside, I could hear an ambulance's siren that wouldn't shut up.
I thought to myself, 'keep going', and closed my eyes.
It was really hard to listen but I didn't stop, my fingers danced arround
the frets and my voice remembered every little move.
Suddenly, it hit me: I wasn't alone. I had everything.
I could feel.
I allowed myself to navigate along with my song through that deep sea,
to give myself into the powerful feeling of being present at that precise moment.
Just my song and I. Nothing else mattered.
I realized I had this great smile across my face and all of a sudden my fingers stopped.
The room was quiet now. My song had ended.
I opened my eyes and saw a room full of faces smiling back at me.
I couldn't feel more blessed.
