A New dawn as I joined the Father's League.

Few weeks ago, I made a post in popcontest on being an expectant father, now it has come to pass as I'm now a full fledged father.

In the midnight of 28th of December, 2017. It started with some iota of confusion as I was not sure the baby is ready to delivered. We finally moved to the hospital and here comes our bouncing baby boy after about three hours of labour.

The journey of fatherhood began and my life has not remained the same since that moment.

Life is in stages, while men are in sizes

It is a stage to be single, it's another stage to be married, then another different stage to be nursing parent. There are still many more stages ahead.

It's a new dawn as my itineraries have been adjusted towards the care for the baby and running errands for my wife.

The first adjustment was the sleeping pattern and time. The baby lives in an entirely different time zone and demands attention that must be given. He sleeps during daytime and fully awake and ready to play at night. (Every parent understands that)

In all of that, there is joy like a river that accompanies the arrival of babies which made all the responsibilities light, and soothes every pain.

My heart goes to those that are waiting to celebrate a thing of joy as this. I pray for you that it shall be your turn!

Our baby is called Oreofe meaning Grace and you can call Him Emmanuel.
