Grow through what you go through: A minnows Stimulant

I follow quite a number of people here on steemit, and I read quite a lot of posts daily, even from people I don't follow. This is because, I like to observe and learn. During my stay on steemit, I've noticed quite a lot of things, one of which is the way the growth system works.

Do you ever take the time to go back to the posts from your early days? Or someone else's, take @karenmckersie for example. Well, I do that a lot, because I like to see how they began, myself inclusive. I like to see how much they've grown, how structured their writing was back then, how much upvotes they got, how well they managed their account. Believe me, it takes quite a while before a steemian begins to stage contests, get a large audience, or give out free sbd.

From every account I study, the one thing that is significant is growth. On steemit, we become better with time, we write better, we learn how to upvote properly, we learn how Curation works, we learn how to manage our accounts properly, our followers grow, and we have a larger audience, put in better words "We grow through what we go through". This should be the case with all things in our lives.

There's the subject we talk about everyday, "steemit is a great place, a cool place, a fun place" , but we seldom talk about how tough it is here. Steemit is a place where your creativity, your skill, your patience, your intelligence, all get tested. It's a bumpy ride, you either learn on the job, or get left behind. Almost everyone here has the same story about their early days, and it is that when they first started out, it was tough, they didn't have much followers, their posts were not given the attention and appreciation they deserved, it goes on and on. But they pressed on and got better, they eventually got the hang of it. That's one of the many things steemit does for you, it builds you, so that as much as you post, blog, and earn, you become a better version of you, with each day spent here.

We're bound to go through different situations everyday, the good, bad, and sometimes ugly. What matters isn't what situation it is, but your reaction to it, what matters is how you come out of it, broken or stronger, what matters is what is learnt. What matters is what growth is recorded from what we went through.
