Pursuit of Happiness. My entry for #popcontest

Seeing the movie "pursuit of happyness" (a movie based on true life story of Chris Gardner) has filled me up with so much positive energy.

The movie was acted by will smith and his son, Jaden Christopher Syre Smith

I've watched this movie over and over again, and each time I watch it, I learn something new and it gives me hope and feels me with a lot of positive energy.

So Chris Gardner invested all his life savings in a venture that failed, with no money coming in,rents due and when it seem things couldn't get any worse,his wife left him alone with the son. Chris then had to live in shelters with his son, he finally got an appointment for an intern position for a reputable brokerage company but prior to the day for the interview he was arrested while painting a house, and was ordered to spend the night in jail, oh boy could things get any worse,is this a conspiracy? Is the universe against me? must be the questions going on in Chris head. Well he managed to arrive for the interview on time,looking dirty with no shirt on, but somewhat he managed to impress the panel. He was offered the position unknown to Chris before hand,this position had no pay whatsoever but the catch is amongst the 20 interns employed only one of them would get the chance to secure a paid position in the company, now Chris was homeless, with no money to buy food, or even have a place to sleep,how could he compete? Odds were against him But regardless of his challenges he worked diligently, device means to get more clients in,defiling all odds, and still find time to study for the final exam. To cut story short he ended up with the position and today he has his own multi million dollar brokerage firm.

The life of Chris has been truly inspiring to me, as of many other cases of people going from rags to cashmere. You see in one of the scenes Chris speaking to his son,he told him "once you want something,go get it, period, don't let no one tell you,you can't do something not even me, when others can't do something themselves they tell you,you can't do it"

And this is my message to all steemers, don't let no one tell you,you can't achieve your set goals,go get them, stay positive and know the sky is large enough for stars to shine bright. Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year my fellow steemers.
