Today With Mickey
It’s a hot one and work week is done
Time to chill and have my fun
Working on the next big thing
And all the happiness it will bring
Not trying to get oh so deep
Not trying to put you to sleep
I’m writing this for you to dig
And with each line I take a swig
Yep a gulp and thoughts abound
Will I make a stake in this town?
Another one and freedom rings
Appropriate, The 4th is on the wings
Ahh.. metaphors for this next set
Follow this and be sure to bet
Like a train coming down the track
We can’t be stopped no turning back
The speed we gather as we gather speed
Will take us to where we believe
Who is Mickey? Don’t you know
