Poloniex down due to potential Ddos attack

I'm sure many of you are aware that Poloniex has been down for the past several hours. There are now rumors circulating that it could be a Ddos attack. This all comes in the midst of August 1st's infamous bitcoin fork which may be a cause for concern to some. Those who are trying to exchange their bitcoin locked up in Poloniex are shit out off luck until further notice.
