Thanks. I've done this before too. It's pretty intuitive, but intimidating until you've done it.
Have you found that the exchange rate is more favorable this way? I even considered using the exchange to convert SBD to Steem, but it looked like a wash when all was said and done.
Well in my case I'm trading for Bitcoin to then turn around and buy Monero and LBRY with so sending it to Poloniex or Bittrex is just step 1. I'll have some Monero and LBRY posts coming soon about how to use and mine them.
