It seems that two of those rivers are in Africa and the remaining eight in Asia.

Unfortunately it's a sad truth. I'm currently in Asia, in Cambodia and i see how filthy waters are here. And not just the waters, but around towns as well. Not to mention that last week i came from Bali, and wow, the shore was full, and i mean full of garbage and plastics - and to try to swim was even worse: plenty of rubbish tingling the feet and stumbling upon while swimming. That was horrible! Something need to be done.
It is us that should have a better consciuness and try to pollute less. Asia and Africa are growing economically and they focus more on the growth but not on protecting nature and polluting less. Let's hope they will find the consciuousness and start polluting less.
