Hi everyone,
A little about myself, my name is Wes and I am a US Air Force veteran that is currently finishing my final semester of undergrad at University of Colorado Denver, currently living in Denver, CO. Although I was interested in blockchain with the introduction of Bitcoin over 10 years ago, I mostly got into blockchain technologies in 2017 with the Ethereum network allowing for more development. I am currently involved in the Geospatial Information Sciences (GIS) community and in the future I plan to continue my education by working towards a Master of Information Technology at an Australian university. I have gotten my "feet wet" in the world of development and coding, but mostly to get a better understanding of requirements, processes, and overhead required for production. My main strengths come in the forms of being able to understand and translate the ideas of IoT, web3.0, blockchain, oracles, smart contracts, and other forms of related technologies to peers and colleagues. The world of blockchain is a new and unfamiliar space for most, and being able to understand the hurdles that others have in adoption is a key focus to the continued success. I look forward to working with everyone to help grow a healthy and informed community.
