Trade Belts on the blockchain perhaps? The name "Silk Road" already has some big baggage there, ha.

Really interesting article here @twotoedsloth. From an urban design and planning perspective I'm very curious to see how the DMZ Economic Belt might engage existing infrastructure (if any) between the two countries. A cross-peninsula trade corridor could be a powerful catalyst to design alongside. Since it's already a historic and militarized area, I would assume that there would be a lot of unexplored urban fabric that could be valuable for tourism, etc.

Are there good surveys of these corridors? I wonder what a zoning / program map along these edges might look like ;)
