Nikki Haley: Venezuela a Violent Narco-State, Presents Global Threat.

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

Personally, I am going to confirm some of the comments made by the Nikki Haley, United States Ambassador to the United Nations on the matter with the Venezuelan Socialist government.

The United States ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley described Venezuela as an “increasingly violent narco-state” at a Security Council meeting that Venezuela and other allies boycotted.

Effectively. The Venezuelan socialist government is composed of several factions, one of them is represented by a group of men closely linked to Colombian drug trafficking, and who has always played an influencing role in Colombian politics. As the government continues to advance in its political objectives, it has become much more repressive and implacable with dissent.

“Today, families struggle to live on just about eight dollars a month,” she continued. “The result is that Venezuela’s neighbors are paying the bill for the violence and poverty the corrupt Maduro regime has inflicted on its people. …

Mrs. Haley is also right in this, because in Venezuela the average salary does not reach $ 8 per month, public services do not work, several states in the country do not have access to basic services such as electricity, water or gas. According to the new governor, the problem of water can last up to 5 months! , of course they make responsible for this to a supposed sabotage of the opposition, nothing has to do with the 20 years they have without doing maintenance to anything.

Venezuela’s ambassador, Rafael Dario Ramirez, dismissed the meeting as a “hostile and clearly interfering act of the United States that undermines the principle of sovereignty of a member state of the United Nations.”

Sovereignty? Of what sovereignty does Mr. Rafael Dario Ramirez speak? Yes, the Venezuelan socialist government has been in charge of financing all the political parties of South America and the Caribbean to match their objectives, interfering directly in the national elections of several of them, including a donation of up to $ 500,000 to the electoral campaign of Donald Trump through Citgo. As also has virtually given the country to the Russians, Chinese and of course the Cubans.

Evidence of large-scale drug trafficking has also grown in recent months. The U.S. Council of Foreign Relations confirmed in May that drug traffickers, including the notorious Mexican Sinaloa and Zeta cartels, as well as potential jihadists, are being allowed to freely operate in Venezuela without fear of reprisal.

Currently in Venezuela, an attempt is being made to formalize a political party for the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia), which has an incredibly close relationship with drug trafficking and subversion to democratic institutions.

Concluion

Venezuela is clearly a threat to some nations of the hemisphere, mainly because it has strong ties to drug trafficking, in addition to playing politically on the side of Cuba, Russia and China. Evidence has also been shown that shows that the Venezuelan government has been in charge of handing out passports to terrorist groups in the Middle East. In itself, the socialist government is too weak to represent a military threat, or of any other type directly, but it can lend itself to helping groups and governments opposed to the West, which could generate much damage to the region.

Sort:

Looks like another target for the US military industrial complex.

Believe it or not, and although personally I am opposed to that, a large part of the weak opposition would support a foreign intervention in order to end the socialist regime.

Yeah your right, although what are the long term implications for meddling in the affairs of not just Venezuela, but the surrounding region?

Obviously it would be negative for the region that the USA or any other foreign power interfered directly in Venezuela or in the region, because the social damage that could be generated is not know to what extent it would be repairable, that without taking into account the misperception that the different peoples have of South America with respect to the US government.
