Wouldn't it be great if we could have politicians who actually aligned with reality on the deepest levels.. Obviously we are far from that. Donald #Trump just put out a series of Tweets saying that #cryptocurrency 'can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity' - is too volatile and 'is based on thin air'. The history and nature of the US Dollar appears to be lost on him completely - in fact it looks like he is overdosing on his own hype.
We have only one real currency in the USA, and it is stronger than ever, both dependable and reliable. It is by far the most dominant currency anywhere in the World, and it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!
I find it particularly amusing that he should put this out only several hours after I did an interview with Israeli television in which I told people to go and watch @corbettreport's documentary exposing Silicon Valley's CIA / Government connections and highlighted how these corporations likely banned cryptocurrency projects (breaching anti-monopoly laws in the process) as part of an intention to prevent the US Dollar from collapsing.
Anyone who has studied the history of the US Dollar knows that it is largely backed up by the threat of violence and contracts forged through installing puppet governments/leaders or simply through continued coercion via 'economic hitmen' as John Perkins exposed so well in his own documentaries/movies/books/talks.
There are so many easy ways to pick apart Trump's narrative that I almost feel like not bothering. Even a child of 8 or so can point out that the US Dollar 'facilitates unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity' every day... And, in truth, law enforcement agencies love Bitcoin because it is so trackable - unlike US Dollars.
The full tweet I responded to reads:
I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity....
The US Dollar is mostly backed by belief, hype and the potential for mass military murder. Crypto's value is backed by genius, intention for freedom and defined, custom parameters that can directly reflect the will of the people instead of the interests of private banking cartels
In case you missed the silicon valley documentary, it's here:
I also highly recommend watching 'Apologies of an economic Hitman':
