Since the tragedy of 9/11 and the countless incongruities that were revealed by public experts, larger and larger groups of "conspiracy theorists" (is it still a theory when there's proven evidence?) have discussed the presence of a Deep State within the U.S. Government that ultimately pulls the strings behind-the-scenes.

CIA Whistleblower, Kevin Shipp, is not some low-level lackey who is grandstanding to get attention. He is (was) well-accredited with "The Agency"...

Kevin Shipp served as a protective agent for the Director of Central Intelligence, a counterintelligence investigator, a Counter Terrorism Center officer, a team leader protecting sensitive CIA assets from assassination, a manager of high-risk protective operations, a lead instructor for members of allied governments, an internal staff security investigator, and a polygraph examiner. He was tasked with protecting the CIA from foreign agent penetration and the chief of training for the CIA federal police force. Mr. Shipp functioned as program manager for the Department of State, Diplomatic Security, and Anti Terrorism Assistance global police training program. He is the recipient of two CIA Meritorious Unit Citations, three Exceptional Performance Awards and a Medallion for overseas covert operations.

Here is a summary of the most salient points of his presentation, which I found entirely fascinating:

• The "Deep State" and "Shadow Government" are two different entities, but both exist. The "Shadow Government" is headed by the CIA and NSA, while the "Deep State" is compromised of the military industrial complex (including military and intelligence contractors), lobbyists, the Federal Reserve and other central banks, the Treasury department, and the IMF/World Bank.
• The military industrial complex funnels money to the Congressional Armed Services Committee, compromised of 48 senior lawmakers to guarantee their vote on any military spending bills.
• Google is "owned" by the CIA, at least in part, through the acquisitions of companies sold by In-Q-Tel, the private venture capital arm of the CIA. Google Earth is one example of a company that was "sold" by the CIA and acquired by Google.
• The Joint Special Ops Command (JSOC) is the “President’s secret army” which he can quietly use for covert assassinations, overthrowing governments and anything else he desires, but the President can often be manipulated to make decisions based on CIA and NSA intelligence and the way it's presented.
• Since 9/11, over 10,000 secret sites have been built in the U.S. There are 1,291 secret government agencies, 1,931 large private corporations and over 4,800,000 Americans that Shipp knows of who have a secrecy clearance, 854,000 of which who have Top Secret clearance. Shipp says that they effectively signed their lives away, bound by an agreement, to get the clearance.
• Intelligence and military contractors and not liable to oversight or accountability by anyone, including Congress.
• The FBI has the right to override the 4th amendment by presenting a National Security Letter and invoking the “State’s Secret Privilege law.”
