Trump Tweets (Week of June 10, 2017): Sign of Frustration or Childishness?

in #politics7 years ago

Those who can’t wait to see Trump resign or get impeached must have been happy this week to see President Trump’s tweets this week, as they clearly indicated deep frustration with the various attacks on him.

President Trump made a fortune and a name for himself through grit, hard work, determination, innate intelligence, and a bit of chutzpa. He got things done. He did things his way and had control over his operations.

He was then elected President of the United States and entered an Office and group of Agencies that had been stocked with people who not only didn’t vote for him, people who vowed to work against him, people who vowed to disrupt his agenda, people who would risk leaking classified information to make him look bad and to derail his fledgling Presidency.

The media has joined in the fun as well, publishing 93% negative stories about Trump since the election, according to a recent Harvard University study – an unprecedented level of negativity for any American public figure, not to mention the President of the United States.

Prior to announcing his candidacy, Trump’s tweets got attention, but they were not obnoxious and were not considered childish. But, things have changed.

President Trump finds himself in an almost impossible situation and his frustration boiled over this week. As President of the United States, he needs to show more discipline and self-control. As a human being, he deserves some sympathy for being forced to fight fires that should never have been started.

I think that President Trump is still learning about the Office of the President and how to handle the Office and he is going through that learning process while battling through bogus claims of collusion with the Russians and obstructing justice – all without criminal charges being cited or even an active investigation against him – but he needs to learn to keep his frustrations in check, as his enemies interpret his frustration as a sign of weakness, and as an indicator that their attacks on him are being effective.

Hi

I am new to SteemIt and am not sure how it really works. I'd be happy to help you out. I just followed you as well.

What is upvoting and how does it work?

Cheers!

I like how everything the system throws at him seems to bounce off him so far. Unfortunately they keep doubling down will not stop till they destroy him.
