The Deep State vs. Democracy

All institutions decay over time. The United States government was initially created to subvert that trend through the process of democracy, whereby new leaders are continually elected to inject vibrancy into the institution of government and adapt to the times in coordinance with the will of the people.

However, the majority of the U.S. government is currently comprised of unelected bureaucrats with no term limits and zero accountability to the public. The democratically-elected politicians have become mere temporary figureheads who do what the permanent deep state bureaucrats tell them to. Senators, governors, and even the president are actors playing the role of politicians.

America is not threatened by a battle of left vs. right, but a battle of the deep state vs. the people. Unfortunately, the people are losing this battle because the deep state has convinced them their fight is with each other.
