North Korea: Trump talks with China and Japan
The US President Donald Trump spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Japanese premier Shinzo Abe, to reaffirm the common commitment to the situation posed by North Korea. He does know the White House. In particular in a note it is communicated that Trump held in the past hours a telephone conversation with President Xi emphasizing the growing threat posed by the nuclear and ballistic program of the northern Corae. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, as well as discussing a number of topics of common, bilateral and regional interest, then meeting at the G20 in Hamburg. Trump also spoke with Abe, with whom the spirit of unity was reaffirmed in making pressure on North Korea to abandon the dangerous path undertaken. Reaffirming that the US-Japan alliance is ready to defend itself and respond in the event of action by North Korea.
I still think Basketball Diplomacy was the way to go. North Korea already has some reformation in their economy and are modernizing quite well.
Personally I am much more concerned with Russia's and America's nuclear power.
It is true, better to use diplomacy and the road to peace are the best.
