Maxime could have been very good for us Canadians... I spoke with him some time after your interview. We went more into detail on inflation, money policy and the gold standard and I have to say that he does NOT think like a conservative. He seemed like one of us. Although he didn't want to talk about Canada's gold being sold... guess that there plans for us must stay secret. At this point I hope that Tim can find the way to grow his party.
It's very unfortunate. I will say though, regardless of whether he won or not, nothing would realistically change. Prime Ministers don't have much of a say.
