According to Wolf of Wall Street actor and Investigate Russia propagandist Rob Reiner 'when you libel James Clapper and John Brennan you libel America'.
John Brennan famously oversaw a CIA campaign of torturing innocent men in Guantanamo and James Clapper lied to Congress about the mass interception of communications by the NSA in the wake of the Snowden revelations. Hashtag Resistance nutcases are putting unelected intelligence agents on a pedestal and worshipping them in the hope that they might oust Trump.
Trump will be gone in a few years, but the CIA and the NSA will be surveilling innocent people's data, overthrowing democracies that the US doesn't like and supporting the military-industrial complex long into the future with 'dedicated servicemen' like Clapper at the helm.
It is the ultimate Faustian bargain - replacing a undoubtable evil in Trump with an even worse, less transparent and more ruthless force in the elected US intelligence bureaus that have plagued the world for so long.
Reiner should be careful what he wishes for.

Trump is not my favorite and never will be,but at least he is blunt which makes him more transparent than his predecessors.Like when he said "we should just take their oil",instead of " let's bring them Democracy!' And people were like "nobody said before we are there for profit!!"
