I think Trump will continue to seek out ways to launder money for Russian oligarchs and other criminals with large scale criminal ventures. Look at the Trump Ocean Club in Panama as an example. It's one of the tallest buildings in Latin America, but it is largely dormant. It's not that condo units haven't sold.
They have. Reportedly, many of the tenants bought condos not with the intention of living there, but rather with the intention to launder cash from criminal ventures. Trump was compensated at least $13.9m in management fees and royalties in the last three years.
