The world's 2043 richest people increased their wealth by $762 billion in 2017, which is enough money to end extreme poverty seven times over

According to Oxfam and Bloomberg, the top 500 billionaires’ net worth grew 24% to $5.38 trillion in 2017.

Oxfam said governments should limit shareholder and executive returns, while ensuring workers receive a living wage. It also recommended eliminating the gender pay gap and raising taxes on the wealthy.

The rich get richer, they get all the profits from their investments while the people who work a daily job barely get enough to pay their bills and most do not even earn a living wage. As wealth inequality continues to increase we will start to see the majority of the population reach a breaking point, revolutions will begin similar to what we have seen in past of human economic history...
