The International Criminal Court Wants to Investigate The War Crimes The USA Has Committed During It's 17 Year Long War In Afghanistan

Trump’s National Security Adviser John Bolton will outline the White House’s new approach to the ICC at a meeting of the Federalist Society, an organization of conservative lawyers, in Washington, D.C., on Monday. According to a draft of Bolton’s speech seen by Reuters, Bolton will assure the audience that America “will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court.”

My thoughts on this news

It looks like other countries are beginning to see that the USA Military, the largest on earth, is a threat and the neocons who are currently running the US government do not like that. The ICC overall is not a bad idea, but it can only work if it is supported by every country on earth, so if every country on earth wants to have investigations because they think there are some governments who are abusing their power, that is perfectly fine. The only way democracy can exist on a global scale is if there are no authoritarian governments that take advantage of people. So the question we have to ask is why the fuck has the USA been fighting a war in Afghanistan for almost 17 years, why is the US military still there and why are American tax payers still paying for this war? This is not the only place on earth the US military is currently involved in some sort of conflict. The neocons in charge of the US government have created an economy of war and sending American youth to fight and die in pointless conflicts that has no benefit for the American people. While the corporations who make weapons of war and their owners get rich.
