Texas Legislature Spends $20 Million On Alternatives to Abortion Program

The Texas Legislature's budget for the next two years includes $20 million more in funding for a controversial program that seeks to discourage women from getting abortions in the state.

So they don't want to fund Planned Parenthood, they don't want to fund birth control, and they don't want women to get abortions.  But lets spend $20 million on a government funded program to discourage women from getting abortions.  What happenend to the less government mantra these politicians are always preaching...?
