According to recent tax filings, Sanchez received nearly $1.5 million in total compensation in 2016 as CEO of the non-profit he founded more than 30 years ago. His salary nearly doubled from the year before, when he was paid $786,822. Charity watchdogs say Sanchez seems to be richly compensated.

My thoughts on this news

This is how oligarchy works, this is a non profit charity corporation and the CEO is earning $1.5 Million per year. This corporation gets all it's revenue from the federal government, so from the American Taxpayers, it gets about $500 million per year from the government to run these detention centers. Why the fuck are the American people willing to pay this man $1.5 Million per year to lock up immigrant children? This corporation gets money from American Tax payers every year, then uses some of that money to bribe politicians to make sure those politicians keep funding this corporation, that is how the circle of corruption, bribery and oligarchy works. So the American Tax payers pay this CEO $1.5 Million per year meanwhile about 15 million children in America live in poverty and this man is profiting from locking up immigrant children. Hey I have an idea, how about we pass a law for every corporation in America that gets over 90% of revenue from the government (American Tax Payers) their CEO cannot earn more per year than twice it's lowest paid employee.... the American government has been taken over by corporations and the wealthy that own those corporations...
