Neither Trump nor Clinton is addressing the biggest challenge to jobs: automation

Technology is the antithesis of government. Throughout history, the government has impeded the advance of technology. And don't give me any nonsense like few and far between NASA discoveries as a counterpoint. Besides the robot tax the EU is considering, the other frontline between government and technology is communications. Thank goodness we have companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft to protect our private conversations. These companies will also be protecting our freedoms of movement and right to assembly (with autonomous vehicles) in the near future.
