Chinese president holds welcome ceremony for Abbas

Chinese President Xi Jinping held a welcome ceremony for his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday.

Abbas arrived in Beijing on Monday morning for an official three-day visit to China. He is expected to discuss the recent developments in the Middle East with Xi.
