Solodad: Canadian Poll for Gun Control, Get on there and vote tougher penalties for gun violencesteemCreated with Sketch.

The poll is under the heading HOT LINKS. Vote.
Tougher penalties for gun violence. More laws will have no effect on mentally ill and violent offenders. They just don't give a shit. Regulating the people who currently do follow firearm regulations will only create resentment. We aren't the problem. Give us open and or conceal carry. Canada will become much safer than before.

What other first world countries are successful with open or conceal carry gun laws? I am interested.
I have always grown up with guns used for hunting so it seems very normal to me for people to have guns in their houses however there seems to be a lot more mass shootings in the USA where guns are a lot easier to come by.
Would you still have testing and delayed time period in order to acquire guns if Canada changed its laws?
I agree, the law abiding citizens will not become criminals if gun laws change but I would hate to see easy access to guns for those who have bad intent.
I would be interested to see how these differences in gun laws is working other countries and if they are able to maintain a low murder and gun violence stats.

I don't need first world status or a gun to be safe. I'm already saved.
However, I would like to help save the life of anyone being shot at. In a mass shooting or simple robbery. If the same situation were to unfold and I had no firearm. I would leave. You and your family would potentially die or be injured. Do you see how that sucks for you? The person not carrying a gun.
If the laws changed. A person wanting to carry and or conceal carry. Would need to pass current rpal test. Would need to pass a standardized tactical carry and conceal course. Be certified in use of force by an independent private security firm. Approved by the Canadian government. Clear background checks. Tested for psychiatric issues that would or could impair the choice to implement use of force. As well as a mandatory conflict resolution course. Outlining best practices for deescalation also privately contracted. Lastly you would be on a registered carry conceal list. It would act as a guarantee of your competence to a court in the event. Use of force becomes necessary. I'm using the term "use of force" to encompass home defense or self defense in public as well as in situations with dangerous aggressors. In public. Where intervention would be acceptable.

Why do you need an example so badly? Governments get involved in peoples affairs and mess things up. We are losing the ability to self regulate. In a perfect world. We wouldn't have to deal with any of this. In a near perfect world. I would block chain the whole mess. With the above mentioned criteria incorporated. Present it as a private company contract to the Canadian Government.

We can't fight their systems but we can replace them. I do have my restricted license as it stands. I don't take my "privilege."not my "right". To posses acquire and operate firearms lightly. I teach my daughter the fundamentals of firearm safety. With Nerf rifles. My guns are too heavy and big for her at the moment. She's 4 just started kindergarten. She will be putting her first rounds down range in the near future. Its important to train for safety sake. A few days ago she walked with an empty bow pointed in a safe direction. Announced loudly "safe direction!" Talk about peace of mind. Exactly what I want. Safety becomes automatic. I and many like me are ready and waiting for that change.

P.S. Don't even get me started on classification.

Lol I was kinda thinking the same thing, maybe I shouldn't have asked :p

Sounds like you have a system all figured out, now you just need to find a way to implement it. They say sometimes the best way to make something big happen is to chip away at it slowly, looks like you are off to a good start with your daughter and your informative posts!

LOL well I'm glad you did ask special K. It's nice to chat with you again. How have been? Hey you wouldn't happen to know Niel Young would you? Not the singer. Lives in Kelowna. (I know totally random. Pretty popular guy)

Getting rid of the enormous government and taxation would make Canada safer.

Music to my ears cfh. I think you and I both know what needs to happen. Baby steps will be required for the masses to be free of the matrix. They can't handle the truth yet.

cfh If your local. Look me up in Ontario for some target practice. Where you too?

I'm your eastern neighbor! How to hook up for some range fun? I'm in the communist/socialist/liberal province of Quebec

Mon Due, Sorry to hear that. lol You should defect to Barrie sometime. What area of Qb? I used to service cell towers there. beautiful geography but the gov....tabernac.

I'm near montreal! I plan to leave this leftists paradise province soon... The provincial government is planning to start a firearm register. Taxes, Socialism and the register... 3 good reasons to leave this communist province.

Where will you go? Im always interested to hear from other freedom seekers.

First thing first, get away from the firearm register... so it means any other province. After that we'll see if there's a country who allows gratitude for a working person (a country where freedom is granted, your paycheck is for the individual and not for the "socialist dream/nightmare") There's not so many years left to find a country, but I'm still on the lookout for a better place)

You sound like my kind of woman. Which province are you thinking about. I've seen them all a few times now. Lots of remote places to choose from.
