Saudi Arabia has been willing since 2015 to purchase the advanced Russian air defense system S-400.
According to Russia's Ross Tich, which said many countries were interested in buying S-400 systems, one of the latest air defense weapons worldwide, including Saudi Arabia.

During a visit to Moscow by Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said Saudi Arabia is interested in buying a number of Russian S-400 missile defense systems.

"Of course there is interest, and there are discussions going on about the S-400, but it has not yet been formally drafted," Rogozin told a news briefing on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia has long planned to acquire S-400 air defense missiles, because of its high and high specifications, as well as its ability to protect Saudi Arabia's airspace from transcontinental missiles launched from Yemeni territory.

Fictional specifications of the most powerful defense system in the world:

The modern S-400 missile defense system, unlike the predecessor S-300BM, has the ability to destroy all types of air targets, including wing-mounted winged missiles, small drones, and even warheads The ballistic missile with speeds of up to 5,000 meters per second. No other system can pursue such a course.

The S-400 is the most advanced in the world and is capable of handling all types of warplanes, including the famous stealth aircraft. The system was designed in the company "Diamond - Antai". The Russian army was supplied with the S-400 systems (Treomv) as of August 2007, when the first battalion equipped with these systems began its combat duty on the outskirts of Moscow.

The S-400 can be equipped with 5 types of missiles, with different missions and targets. The "40N6 6" rocket came as a final model, complementing the system. The missile is used to destroy important and complex targets, including remote radar detection and enemy stealth aircraft, at a distance of 400 kilometers.

It's not only a defence against missiles from Yemen but also missiles from Iran. Which have very sophisticated missiles. Anyway I have doubts about the S-400 because Israeli jets penetrated Syrian territory many times when S-300 where stationed there.

yes thats true
