I got married before I read this article. It may have changed things if I did read it in time. I have to say that I haven't heard the spin of divorce rape until I read this article. It's pretty scary to read about it despite the fact I've seen this issue in real life.

I spent about 10 years in the Navy with half of that time out on sea duty. I've seen the effects of sea life on a married. Guys would come back from a deployment to find that their wives have moved on and wiped them of most of their money before the guy got back.

On my end, my wife and I approached the topic of divorce on multiple occasions, but that was out of anger more than anything. Best of luck to everyone. Thank you for your article.
