Distinguished President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I address you respectfully and peacefully to express my sincere concern for the situation that my brothers in the faith are going through, namely the Jehovah's Witnesses of your country, as you will know the activities Peaceful of my brothers could be prohibited by reason of the request made on March 15, 2017 by the Russian Ministry of Justice filed before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation where the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses of Russia is described as extremist. This situation directly affects thousands of Russian families threatening their human right to freedom of worship, which includes their freedom to manifest their religion or belief in public or private, as well as violate their human right to freedom of expression and opinion. The activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses as an international organization are peaceful and pose no threat to the survival of any governmental state, rather we promote peace, respect the rights of others and recommend obedience to law and order imposed by any such country. and how the Holy Bible expresses it to win us the approval of the governments.
I humbly ask you to try to influence the decision that the institutions of your country are about to take to Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia and that they can resume their activities promptly and peacefully. The process of this decision is being observed by the more than eight million Jehovah's Witnesses present throughout the world and by all the states in which we find ourselves and the result could negatively affect our activities in other countries. The image of your great country, your own image as a person and the image of Russian institutions could be marred by a bad decision, I pray that you think of these my brothers in the Russian faith as what they are for you: part of the whole people Russian, whom your great nation has commissioned you to take care of, I remind you please take care of them.

Distinguido Señor Presidente de la Federación Rusa Vladímir Vladímirovich Putin, me dirijo a usted respetuosa y pacíficamente para expresarle mi sincera preocupación por la situación que están atravesando mis hermanos en la fe, a saber los Testigos de Jehová de su país, como usted sabrá las actividades pacificas de mis hermanos podrían quedar prohibidas por motivo de la petición hecha el 15 de marzo del 2017 por el Ministerio de Justicia ruso presentada ante el Tribunal supremo de la Federación Rusa donde se califica extremista el Centro Administrativo de los Testigos de Jehová de Rusia. Esta situación afecta directamente a miles de familias rusas amenazando su derecho humano a la libertad de culto, lo que incluye su libertad de manifestar su religión o creencia en público o privado, así como ultrajar su derecho humano a la libertad de expresión y opinión. Las actividades de los Testigos de Jehová como organización internacional son pacíficas y no representan ninguna amenaza para la supervivencia de ningún estado gubernamental, más bien promovemos la paz, respetamos los derechos ajenos y recomendamos la obediencia a la ley y el orden impuesta por cualquier país tal y como lo expresa la sagrada Biblia para granjearnos la aprobación de los gobiernos.
Le ruego humildemente que trate de influir en la decisión que las instituciones de su país están a punto de tomar para con los testigos de Jehová de Rusia y que ellos puedan retomar pronta y pacíficamente sus actividades. El proceso de esta decisión está siendo observado por los más de ocho millones de Testigos de Jehová presentes en todo el mundo y por todos los estados en los que nos encontramos y el resultado podría afectar negativamente nuestras actividades en otros países. La imagen de su gran país, su propia imagen como persona y la imagen de las instituciones rusas se podría ver empañada por una mala decisión, ruego que piense en estos mis hermanos en la fe rusos como lo que son para usted: parte del entero pueblo ruso, al que su gran nación le ha encargado cuidar, le recuerdo por favor cuide de ellos.
