Oh Canada, you never cease to find ways to disappoint

The Federal Government today announced its intention to buy the TransMountain pipeline from KinderMorgan and make it a crown corporation, to ensure that it is built, arguing it is in the national interest, despite intense opposition from British Columbia and many First Nations. This decision to trample Indigenous rights and the environment will cost about $4.5 billion with no idea how much construction will cost afterwards. Not to mention other costs we don’t know about yet.

On that note, I don’t know.
