Al Franken: Defender Of Virtue And Integrity... A Tribute

[This is my last post of the day... I have to make $15 more so I can take Sunday off. If this doesn't work, I'll have to start posting nude pictures of myself- yes that was a threat!!!]
Sen. Al Franken, who we all know from his illustrious Hollywood career was in the news recently for slamming one of President Trump's nominees for a federal judgeship, Amy Conan Barrett, a professor at Notre Dame, for accepting a fellowship from the well respected Alliance Defending Freedom calling the group a "hate group." This because the group fights to preserve religious freedom for everyone, including Muslims and other religious organizations. He went on to say that she "wasn't truthful," in effect calling her a liar and that she was "irresponsible," and using "bad judgement" for not vetting the group first.
The CEO of the organization, Michael Farris, criticized Franken for lumping his group in with legitimate hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan. Franken, getting his information from a real hate group, the Southern Poverty Law Center, was clearly the one acting irresponsibly not to mention using bad judgement himself. The gunman that attacked the Family Research Council headquarters in 2012 cited the SPLC as the source of his information.
The SPLC, according to a statement by Farris was once a proud civil rights organization that has degenerated into a liberal "smear machine." Picking up on Franken's narrative, the MSM picked up where he left off... I googled it and Google was full of articles and videos hailing Franken as a champion of integrity and democratic values. To be fair to Franken, however, here's a video of him grilling Obama nominee Elena Kagan...

Why is it that the majority of us normal people will get prosecuted for "political incorrectness" while stupidity always seems to get a pass?
It all depends on which side you're on... If you're a liberal you get a pass, if you're a conservative... Look out!!!
